Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a fantastic New Year’s Eve.

I had an amazing but exhausting time over the last week and a half and am happy to be back home and this weekend I’m recharging my batteries.

I know I’m blessed and am very very blessed to have the mother I have but once in a while I think I take for granted the unconditional love I get from her. This last week I realized more then ever that I am truly truly blessed and need to remind her at ALL times that she’s an awesome and amazing woman and I’m glad she’s my mom.

On the way in to work this morning I thought about the year 2007 and realized that I am one lucky lady and need to count my blessings that 2008 will be bigger and better. I started graduate school, I finished paying off all my credit card bills, I went to North Africa for the first time, rode a camel and hugged a monkey, I went to Sub-Saharan Africa for the first time and entered in to the year 2008 still credit card debt free!

I know great things will continue to happen in 2008 and I can’t wait to find out what. Life is good!

Happy New Year to you too! Sounds like you did have a great year. As much as I love my mother, she worked my nerves just a wee bit while I was home for the holidays. Oh well. I'll take a working my nerves a wee bit mama to no mama any day. :) So, that is a blessing!

I'm happy to see another sister being on top of her finances and reaping the benefits of the money she makes!

Your thoughts on your mommy are lovely, thanks for sharing.

That's great about the credit cards. I remember you posted about them a while back. You made quick work, Congratulations.

Have a wonderful 2008.
