You ever want something that you know you really didn’t want? It looked shiny, intriguing even. Just not for you, yet you couldn’t help yourself. You just wanted to touch this shiny, not good for you toy. Knowing that the shiny new toy would eventually fade away to reality, you still want a peek.
Maybe its angst and maybe I should just put that toy back on the shelf.

I'm gonna need more detail. :-)
Yeah, that one left me confused too :-)
Is it like, Wow, I want those shoes, than you get them and realize they hurt your feet, or that you really did not need them. Is that what you meant? LOL.
(Rubbing hands together) Oooh miss H! You tapped into some childhood memories right there. I remember this story about a fish that kept admiring a silver thing hanging below in the sea. Day after day, there it was. And one day that fish reached out and grabbed that silver thing and it was never seen again. It turned out that the silver thing was a fisherman's bait hook. -lol
@ Hostess, Geckogirl and Shai the toy = dude
@ Luke cage and then there's that, clearly I need to leave the shiny toy on the shelf.
If the shiny thing is unclaimed...I say try it on for size. :)
Okay, if it's a guy, I say go for it. You only live once and you never know what will come of it.
I have, but I have the darndest time fighting temptation.
Nice blog I will be back.
I felt this way about the iPod I never bought. Recently though I bought some cool secret agent stuff. You gotta see it. What were you gonna buy? Are you now a proud owner?
