Green With Envy
I don’t typically “envy” people but right about now I’m pretty envious of folks without any vision or tearing problems. Some of you may remember the clogged tear tuck, if not click here. I ended up having the surgery to create a by pass and unfortunately I’m now in a wait and see game. I’m still tearing and have had two subsequent doctor visits after the surgery and so far they’re still telling me to hold on it should get better. Since I’m using medicated drops the doctor made a stress test that included putting in yellow drops in my eyes. Unfortunately I still had my contacts in. On the way back to the office I looked in my rearview mirror to “check my hair” and saw this looking back at me.

I feel for you because of the tearing issue... but the eye color change is quite funny!

I laugh every time I look at the picture. The contacts changed back to clear after a few hours but I threw them out when I got home. I would have taken them out after the doctor's office but I didn't have my glasses with me.
@creole = u know who saw them that day but may have thought I was a freak of nature.
That is crazy. I have the same issue and I have had 3 surgeries! Its ridiculous. Its my right eye.
Hi Honest. Would it help if you wore glasses instead of contacts? Women in glasses are sexy too.

What's wrong with that color? I like it. As for super hero powers, they will reveal themselves when you least expect it.
Wow! I agree with Charlie, just wear glasses, girl. I'll be in glasses for life....or at least until somebody has a chance to live 25 years after getting lasik surgery and not go blind--then maybe I'll consider that.
You and your story about some green colored dye being administered over your contacts... yeaaah right! Why don't you just tell all of us about your green lantern power ring that you sport on your finger and the green eyes are simply a manifestation of your powers coming on and you going out into the night to fight crime? Hm?
Oh wow! I gotta say, if I saw you walking down the street with those bright green eyes, I would be very afraid. I'd instatnly think of Mrs. Incredible Hulk. lol.
I had an issue this weekend where my right eye was swollen and kept running all day. It's better now, but I couldn't imagine having to deal with that on a regular basis. Hopefully your green eyes will be better soon. =)
